For added therapeutic attributes, when safe to do so, perform this warm-up routine bare-footed on soft grass. The natural undulations of the uneven surface help to 'massage' the sole of the feet, which consequently act like reflexology in emanating up the body to relax and 'loosen' the lower back and hips.

This warm-up routine can, also, be used as rehabilitation routine / workout. Helping, gradually, to increase movement and activity after injury or a rest period.
